Peace Through Strength.

Of the Four Major Branches of the Bounty Hunters Guild, The Crimson Nova Military Command - consisting of the Mantis Assault Fleet (MAF) and Ragnar Defense Fleet (RDF) - make up a bulk of the Guild's manpower due to the incredible necessity to have a strong military force. In the old days, Hunters would travel by themselves seeking out their next mark, lurking in the shadows and acting with caution. There are some who still do this, but not Mantis or Ragnar. There jobs require more than a single hunter. In Ragnar and in Mantis, Hunters join together on the finest technology our Guild can get its hands on. That being said, the Guild prefers to use concepts of stealth and speed, preferring outmaneuvering our enemies, hit-and-run attacks, guerrilla tactics and subterfuge. Hunters will strike fast, hard, and from the shadows, though the Guild prefers to avoid direct engagements when possible.

Crimson Nova is the official name for the Guild's Naval Arm. It was established because the Council determined that there needed to be a single authority over the fleets, rather than having two independent military arms. Led by an Overseer, Crimson Nova receives everyone entering Military Service for the Guild and determines which fleet they will operate within. Crimson Nova is led by former Guildmaster of the Mercenary Guild, Overseer Ermine Nozual.

Crimson Nova consists of the two fleets, Ragnar and Mantis. Known as Battle Squadron 1 (BS-1), Ragnar Fleet is the first and primary line of defense for Neelgaimon and her colonies. Mantis Fleet, known as Battle Squadron 2 (BS-2), is the main assault & tactical fleet for Neelgaimon and her colonies. Both answer directly to the Crimson Nova Central Command (CNCC).
