The Beginning

Initially the Guild was created to regulate the Bounty Hunting Trade. Created solely from small houses joining together to create regulations, which came to be the "Bounty Hunters Creed" as many call it. The guild first started with the Salaktori House, which were the ones who created the Creed in which the Hunting Foundation was built upon.

Further past the creation, the Guild continued to expand and within years, the Guild controlled all aspects of the Hunting trade. Within another years, the Guild gained a fearsome attitude in the fact you could be taken out from a distance or even in your sleep.

The Wars & Their Impact

The first major impact came when a new Leadership of the Empire came. Inside of the Empire their became a very solid line of what the Empire should be and to keep certain people from looking bad, Bounty Hunters were used to take down certain targets. Quickly Bounty Hunters broke the "Creed" and started to work against each other. When the Empire finally split apart, as did the Bounty Hunters caught in the middle of it all. Slowly the Guild began to lose its hold over the Hunting Regulations and slowly began to lose its Bounty Hunters at the same time. All around smaller factions began to form, trying to take away what the Bounty Hunters Guild was and always has been.

The Next impact came with the Formation of the Rebel Alliance, those that finally choose to stand up against the Empire. The Guild had by this time formed into a smaller faction, holding what threads it had. The rebels tried to use the Guild and its members for it own quick gain and thats what it finally did. The Rebel Alliance quickly diminished with the new formation of the new government, The New Republic. When the New Republic was created, the Empire and many factions took their eyes from Bounty Hunting and went into more of the art of Spies and Sabotage. They took to the fact they could steal what they want instead of paying for what they would want. This allowed the Bounty Hunters Guild to once more grow to a controlling stature. At a slow rate the Guild expanded into a few systems but could never again gain the control it had.

The next step for the Hunters Guild to return to a certain power once more tried its patience with the creation and quick expansion of the Eidola Pirates. Under the decisive leadership of Teniel Djo, the Pirates hit the Guild countless times before the Guild was nothing but separated Bounty Hunter groups. The Pirates quickly came to become acknowledged as a Government for the territory they controlled and this caused many Hunters to join the Pirates crusade into a more Dark Side of manners.

Re-Emergence

The Sons and Daughters of Freedom are a fire made of bright flames. Sometimes they are burning brightly in plain view of all, a sign of hope to those in need and a torch of judgment to those who would repress. Sometimes scattered to the wind, warming the hearts and minds of those who share their beliefs, but never gone or diminished in their resolve. Though most recently scattered, the time nears where the light of freedom must burn brightly once more.

In an effort to draw out the remaining Freedom loyalists in hiding, on the early days of Year Ten, the Maw Fleet Irregulars formally returned to its roots and announced it was changing it's name to The Bounty Hunters Guild. The Guild had always been the backbone of the Sons and Daughters of Freedom, and now in these trying times, the strength and solidarity of the Guild is needed more than ever. The Guild is and always has been as much about family as the hunt and we call out to our brothers and sisters who were, and those who will be.
